 Day
1
A day to familiarize yourself with the local color and your fellow adventurers. Early morning, we set out to hike Ruby Mountain, a volcano which last erupted 10,000 years ago. To get to Ruby Mountain, we drive along Pine Creek, stopping at Pine Creek Falls, an opportunity for some exciting photography. We drive further on an historic mining road through Ruby Canyon, which brings us above the tree-line. Than we start a 2-hour hike to the top of Ruby Mountain where we can enjoy the panoramic view of the coastal mountains. Good chance that we spot mountain goats, caribou and moose as we walk through carpets of alpine flowers.
 Day
2-6
We leave from Warm Bay for a 5-day canoe trip on Atlin Lake. It the largest natural lake in British Columbia (100 km). To cover the bigger distances, to get to the selected island and inlets on Atlin Lake, we travel by Jet Boat. When we arrive at our destinations we use Voyager Canoes and 16 foot Canoes. Our base camp will be on  Copper Island, the most scenic island, a setting of unparalleled natural beauty. Atlin Lake is surrounded by snow-capped and glacial mountains rising to 7000 feet.

Hiketo the top of Copper Island and to its idyllic land-locked lakes. Pick a small lake of your own and enjoy a day of private canoeing. As you glide along in this stillness you may observe a moose or black bear on the shore. Hear the mystic call of the loon as you enjoy the fresh air, crystal-clear waterand the natural beauty of the setting. Explore by canoe the inlets and islands of Atlin Lake's First and Second Narrows. By evening light, experience the exhilaration of fishing for greyling or 20-pound lake trout.

Travel by canoe or boat (depending on the weather) to the south end of Atlin Lake, then hike to Llewellyn Glacier, for an exciting and safe exploration of the glacier ice. Llewellyn Glacier is a tongue of a vast ice field that straddles the British Columbia-Alaska border and feeds several major rivers including the fabled Yukon River. This gigantic ice plateau reaching 100 km from Atlin Lake to the Pacific is the biggest glacial massif outside the Arctic.

 Day
7
Canoe back to Warm Bay. An opportunity for a dip in the warm springs, surrounded by rich vegetation and fresh watercress. Then return to the Centre for a scrumptious meal. Enjoy the hot tub or sauna and relax in preparation for the second part of the program.
 Day
8-9
Early morning departure to McKee Creek where we begin our alpine hike through varied terrain on game trails. Above the tree line, we hike over high alpine meadows, crossing cascading creeks to reach base camp at Sentinel Mountain, a picturesque alpine setting among idyllic ponds, alpine flowers and scattered snow fields. There is ample time to explore and long daylight hours offer great photo opportunities in this spectacular setting.

The following morning we climb Sentinel Mountain for an exciting birds-eye view of Atlin Lake and the majestic glacier topped peaks of the Coast Range mountains. We may see soaring eagles, encounter mountain goats, a herd of caribou or spot a grizzly.

The next day, we cross a grassy upland area and through pine forests we return to McKee Creek. Back to the Atlin Centre for culinary treats and an evening of relaxation.

  Day
10
Leisurely stroll through the "mystic forest" to a rock cliff overlooking Atlin Lake and its majestic mountains for a closing view over the enchanting terrain which offered you 9 days of inspiration, personal discovery and spiritual nourishment. In the afternoon we visit the charming village of Atlin with its historic sites from the Klondike Gold Rush days and browse through the local craft stores and in the evening a very special celebration and good-by-dinner.
